I will talk about how to be happier, but not with material achievements. It's about the things that money can't buy, which are silence and stillness. I recommend reading the 4 conclusions from Titus Nhat Hanh's book "Silence: The Power of Quiet in a World Full of Noise"
1. All the joys of life are already present here. Stop the noise in your head to enjoy the truly magical sounds of life that you need to listen to. Then you will live your true and profound life.
Titus Nath Khan (Author of Silence) made the point that sometimes you need to listen to yourself. But this will only work out when you love solitude. This may sound strange, but I'll explain it now. You don't have to be a hermit, you just need to be alone sometimes. Once you start to appreciate solitude, you get to listen and hear your inner voice. Sometimes it sounds barely audible, but it knows exactly what you want. Try this, solitude.
2. Individual consciousness coming from within, like the food we consume.
There is one good formula that I live by myself and advise others:
What's the point of berating yourself for some mistake? If you can, fix it, and if you can't, try to shift your focus. This will save your nerve cells and the time you would have spent on self-digging. Think positively, it will bring positive emotions and good events into your life.
3. The bell and your habitual reaction to its sound helps you stop the express train of thoughts and emotions rushing through your head.
Many people who try to meditate give up because they can't get rid of their thoughts completely. And that's okay. If you don't want to meditate, and you still need to clear your head, start a small bell, the ringing of which will symbolize a pause in thoughts. If you don't do this, the mush of thoughts turns us into robots who don't notice time or the colors of life around us. Think about it.
4. How to find peace of mind? Something inside is constantly pushing us and pulling us somewhere
Where do we keep running to?
The Buddha clarified this question this way:
There is nothing to add here.
It takes time to realize this. Be sure to write this phrase down for yourself and don't lose it.
For those who are working on themselves
Only those who are determined to change their lives for the better, not just read smart thoughts, get to this place. I'm proud of you, catch...
New assignment:
Whether you're at home or outdoors, when you're alone, try just sitting in silence. Try not to think about anything, just listen to yourself and what's around you. Don't forget to share how you feel in the comments
Why?
I want you to feel what I wrote about in the first conclusion. Listen to yourself. It's not hard, but it's very helpful for your inner state.
Here I talk about how to create a profitable idea. Check it out, I tried.
